In 1969, I was born in Dallas, Texas and quickly moved to El Paso Texas
where I lived until I was thirteen years old. My family moved to
Palestine after a family death so that we could be closer to the
remaining family. My father was the Music Director for Palestine ISD
and my mother taught Home Education. I was taught at an early age
that your family is the most important gift a man is blessed with.
Also, truth and honesty was expected in our household. It is simply
the right way.
In 1988, I went on to attend college at Texas A&I University in Kingsville,
Texas where I received a degree in Chemical Engineering. I
moved to Houston, Texas to start my career with Marathon Oil
as a process engineer. Two years later I was asked to join Texas
Petrochemicals as a process engineer where I later managed the
customer service department, and eventually went on join the Commercial
team selling C4 specialty chemicals. My experiences over the years
working with people from various backgrounds and different
disciplines have given me a strength in listening to people and
understanding their needs. This one trait alone is very key in the
real estate business as everyone has their own individual needs and
it is important as your agent to understand your needs and wants,
and help you achieve them.
I ventured into Real Estate in 1994 and have fallen in love with
the business. My wife and I love meeting and interacting with people, and that
is what this business is about. I have since been called back into
Chemical Engineering and am no longer in the showing properties, but
I work alongside my wife in the business. She practices Real Estate
and we both have a personal interest in acquiring real estate on our
own.
Tasha feels good about working in this
industry and knows she has something to offer you. If you are in the process of selling or buying,
give us a try, and if nothing else, we can establish another friendship.
On a lighter side, my hobbies are playing golf and basketball,
and watching fighter jets in flight. My ability to play basketball
re-assures me that I can do good things, but my golf game lets me
and everyone else know that I have serious flaws. With that said,
just know that practice makes perfect, and I am a hard
worker!
